Fall Open Mats Are Back, No Experience Needed
Just Show Up
Fall Open Mats are back, and they are the easiest way to get on the mat before the winter season. No experience needed. First-timers, returners, and competitors are all welcome, and the setting is low-pressure and fun. It is coach-supervised every week, with expert staff and volunteers on the mat. Bring a friend who has been curious about the sport. And for high schoolers, the season is coming; Sunday afternoons are where you get ready.
Here are the details:
Sundays, September 13 through November 22 (no session October 11)
4:00 to 6:00 PM, Winchester Recreation Center
Grades 5 through 12, all skill levels
Drop-in: $10 per visit for residents, $15 non-residents
NEW: $90 season pass for residents covers all 10 sessions, just $9 each ($135 non-residents)
