Winchester Wrestling Brings the Booth to Town Day

Meeting Our Future Wrestlers

Town Day is one of the best outreach days we get all year, and this one delivered. Our booth stayed busy with families stopping by to play Guess Your Weight, win a prize, and meet the coaches and wrestlers. The best part was all the new faces ready to give wrestling a try.

We set up alongside the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation, a great partner and the best neighbors on the street. Thank you to Playa Bowls Winchester for the gift cards that made the prize table a hit, and to our wrestlers and parent volunteers who gave their Saturday to represent the program.

Days like this are how the sport grows, one curious kid at a time. If we missed you, summer Open Mats are the easiest way in: grades 3 to 12, all levels, Sundays starting June 28 at the Winchester Recreation Center. Come give it a shot.
